Jan. 6th, 2011 06:44 pmStill haven't seen Caprica yet, no time. Got the church listserve out. Finished those archival posts.
And spent the day listening to people talk about working as engineers on the railroad. I now know more about what a resident engineer does than I ever wanted to. Although it was rather interesting - I'm weird, I find the "work" people do incredibly interesting.
Off to fix dinner. Cough is getting better, I think. The Advair may actually be working this round.
And then tv viewing. Lots and lots saved on DVR. Am woefully behind again.
Will state that watching Smallville marathon after the Breaking Bad marathon was not at all fair to Smallville. (It looked woefully dumb and somewhat cheesy in comparison. I like Smallville, don't get me wrong, but it ain't gonna win any awards anytime soon.)
Am also between books again...could not get into Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...it made my head hurt.
So am reading New Yorker articles on my Kindle instead. So far read one that made me want to dash out and eat desserts. Another that made me want to see Blue Valentine. And a third that made me feel sympathy for Joan Crawford. Rather good reviews/articles by the way. The writing in that magazine is always top-notch.
