shadowkatAfter working hard all day on a church related committee yesterday, took today off - went to farmers market and bought peonies, dill pickles, sweet turkey sausage, and scallops. Now watching The Tony's, I'm DVRing - Game of Thrones, and True Blood.
Asides on the Tony's - the opening number sucked, I'm sorry. It was truly cringe-worthy. They can do better. Audience interactive bits really don't work on awards shows, where every one is super nervous to begin with.
Also? I may never forgive John Stewart for making it impossible for anyone who isn't a millionaire or has "CONNECTIONS" to see The Book of Mormon on Broadway. I'd wanted to see it and now can't. It's sold out for the next five years.
Decided I needed something brainless...hence the Tony's, we'll see how long it lasts - since all I want to see is the performances. Hmmm...I never realized how short Daniel Radicliff is. He's tiny. Everyone towers over him. Not sure he can he really sing, but he can sing better than I can. He can however dance.
