Question to LJ Users??? Do you get email notifications?

Is anyone getting email notifications of responses to their own journal posts?? I get email notifications of responses to responses that I've made to other people's journal posts and to posts I make in DW, just not to posts I do in LJ.

(I have to check the Review Recent Comments to see who has made comments and the stupid thing will only allow unpaid users to see up to 10 comments, which invariably include my own. Is this yet another ploy to get me to pay for an lj account? Because not going to happen. I refuse to pay for this.)

I get notified when other people comment on posts I made in lj...
or when a lj user comments on a comment I made in their lj...

I don't get any emails with regard to anything I post (whether on my lj or on anyone else's).

I only get notified if someone responds to a comment I made to their journal.
Hmm. Wonder if it is my email server that's blocking it out?

have you checked your notification settings: go to 'account' and look at your notifications:

because I'm getting what I selected... it could be I have more choices because I have a paid account, but I thought I always had all those choices....

I always have before. Admittedly, I haven't been posting to my own journal a lot lately, but when I post to comms, I get notifications. Is this a new thing that's (not) happening for you?

No, not new. Hasn't worked since they had troubles with the email notifications way back in April, I think. Thought it would be fixed by now.
But no. I've been checking "Review New Comments" and each post to figure out if anyone has responded - which is a tad annoying. Only see responses to comments I make in other people's journals - which leads me to believe this problem is mine only?

Yep. Says Review Latest Comments - (which unfortunately include mine) and
if you want to see more than 10 - like say 100? You have to get a paid account.
(So not going to happen, dream on - LJ!)

Comcast.net routs every comment you send to me into my Spam filter. (even when I have emails redirected through a gmail ghost) I had to create server rules to make sure LJ notifications from Shadowkat67 go to my inbox.

That used to be the case with mine - now I don't get comments to either the spam or the regular. Not sure why. I do get comments to posts that I make in someone else's journal - such as yours. It's very odd.
