Aug. 27th, 2011 02:27 pmWell, I managed to get the wrong batteries for my alarm clock and cd-player/radio alarm clock (not that I could find them anyhow.) But do have extra batteries for two flashlights, one that can be packed and go, one that's a bit larger. Largest - doesn't need a new one yet. Also new pocket am/fm radio has plenty of batteries. Bought I few that don't appear to fit to anything (because I miscalculated). I'm hoping no power outages, but you can never tell. Also have candles. Truth is most of things I have
I fine on water at least.
Have stopped watching the news, which was stressing me out.
Oh, if you don't have containers - use zip lock bags, fill them with tap water and put them in your fridge, if they freeze, will keep things colder longer. And can be used as drinking water, etc.
Am hoping this all a tempest in a teapot. But even if it is - will take MASS TRANSIT a full day at least to get the system moving again.
