shadowkatFinished watching Dexter S5 - rather predictable and lack-luster season, falling at times into cliche. But it did hold my attention through the last four or five episodes. And Quinn is growing on me. He feels a lot like Deke from the first two seasons, who I liked a lot better. So it's not going to end well.
The best part of Dexter S5 and only character arc that worked for me was Debra Morgan's. Also liked Dexter/Astor relationship. Lumen felt more like a catalyst character...and I'm not sure she worked all that well. Also Liddy was far more interesting and scarier presence than Johnny Lee Miller's Jordan Chase, in part because Peter Weller is a better actor. Miller just looked bewildered.
Watching the first episode of The Borgias, or half watching it, but it's just not my cup of tea. So glad I picked Game of Thrones on HBO to subscribe to instead.
Weather here is funky and doesn't quite match the news' weather forecasts...they said it would get drier and no rain and less wind. It's stayed very windy and we have frequent squalls, much like yesterday. I swear, I feel like I live in Florida or the Islands.
