God, I'm tired. Got to get up at 5:16 am tomorrow to do another 10-12 hour day.
Worked through lunch, but did take 20 minute walk - to get a little sunlight. Since I'm going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, but hey, at least I get to see the sunrise on the train.
Finished watching Glee, and thought, gee, I guess Ryan Murphy doesn't know the Salvation Army is homeophobic? (the things you learn on lj...I'm a member of freespeechzone...that's how I know or someone on my flist mentioned it, can't remember which.)
Also, have to agree with Artie, the best Xmas special was the insane Star Wars Xmas Special in 1979 or 1980, can't remember which date it was. Very funky. Nothing will ever compare to it. The whole episode was a bizarre parody/satire of old 1950's to 1980's television Variety Xmas specials by celebrities.
Favorite tv shows right now are The Good Wife, Once Upon a Time and Revenge..although Once and Good Wife wiped the floor, best damn episodes of anything all week.
Favorite film and tv characters? In no particular order:
1. Han Solo
2. Apollo (both versions of BattleStar Galatica...I've no idea why I loved Apollo. Particularly the Richard Hatch version...when other versions of the same character trope tend to irritate me. With the possible exception of Scott Summers/Cyclops. Angel weaned me permanently of this particular trope or rather his fandom did...not the fandom on flist, that other fandom, of which we shall not speak of.)
3. Spike
4. John Crichton (sort of a marriage of Apollo, Spike and Han Solo...or what would happen if they got together and had a kid with Malcolm Reynolds and Kirk and Spock)
5. Kirk - yes, I liked James T. Kirk - so sue me. Why else would I wade through all those movies...Spock was okay, but Kirk made me laugh. I find William Shatner hilarious in that role.
6. Picard
7. Aeryn Sun
8. Illyria
9. Veronica Mars
10.Starbuck - Kara Thrace
11. Laura Rosylnn...BSG
12. Doctor River Song
13. Kalinda Sharma
14. Emma Swan
15. Nolan - Revenge
16. Olivia Durham - Fringe
17. Walter Bishop - Fringe
18. Doctor Who - 10 and 11
19. Rory from Doctor Who
20. Indiana Jones
And there's probably more, but am sleepy and going to bed...
