shadowkatWell, back from a walk on the beach with the Momster, and a relaxing day making fudge and reading beside a lagoon while listening to squirrels chatter and chase each other in trees. Seriously, the folks have a colony of red tailed tree squirrles in their trees, they chatter and chase each other, fight, and throw oak nuts. It's hilarious. Didn't know squirrles spoke until I sat outside. Last night, after attempting to shoo the little green chameolon lizard from my bedroom, I made buddies with him...he eats bugs so no biggie and he's sort of cute.
Momster states that these little green chameolon lizards come in the guest-bedroom all the time and are perfectly harmless. That's okay, I told her, just as long as it doesn't hop into bed with me. After she left, I told the little guy that as long as he stayed on the floor and away from me and my things, we'd get along fine.
Popster is watching the Temple/Wyoming Football Game on ESPN or otherwise known as the Grandlin New Mexico Holiday Bowl. There's apparently 37 Bowl games...this is the first. He also related the tale of Tebow to me, who I (shock!gasp!) had never heard of. (Denver Broncos Wonder Boy QuarterBack - who has miraculously won their last few games and may hurtle them into the Superbowl again the GreenBay Packers - against all odds.) TV has little interest to my Dad - other than sports, news, and political analysis these days.
Won't be posting much...since on vacation. Be in and out, I suspect. Will state it is amazing the difference a day makes, like have a pound of bricks removed from my shoulders.
