I wish you'd had a separate question on RTD-Who versus Moffat-Who, because I've always wanted to see how a poll like that would turn out, but I don't have the courage to post it myself...

(OTOH, it would probably turn out quite differently if you posted it than if I did, because I have a lot of RTD fans on my flist.)

Well it is sort of there...and you can see how many people put Doctor Who over Buffy (about 4).

Worth noting..that I don't have that many Doctor Who fans and the ones that I do have and answer polls tend to be either Moffat centric or ambivalent.
Too late to fix now in any event. ;-)

I decided to do it as a separate poll and see what happened.
So far, pretty much as predicted.

Didn't know what to put for GoT, as I'm not watching, but I've watched part of one and fully intend to watch the rest. Sometime. Pretty soon. Not today.

I'd have put watching - if you plan on it and watched the first part.

To answer the Buffy vs. Doctor Who question (which I'd never even considered), I asked myself what is my favorite thing about these fandoms? And the answer was Captain Jack Harkness. I am not in particular a Moffat or Davis fan (I'd definitely pick Whedon) but of all the delightful things they've offered Captain Jack wins.

BtVS S9 and the Angel & Faith comics are completely eclipsed by the two comics I am really into: Brian K. Vaughan's new series 'Saga', and Terry Moore's 'Rachel Rising' (the art and stories of those two are really wonderful).

you forgot

Can't choose between the Buffy 'verse & DW. Love em both, but in different ways. Well, the same way, but... Can't choose.

I read the S8 comics up to the last seven, or so (despite being a Spike fan; I've not yet read thelast story in the season, and none of the current ones. I pick up some of the angelverse ones; mostly Spike & Illyria-centred ones. I haven't yet read the Faith & Angel series, but I am getting them.

Has to be Star Trek; especially DS9.

Buffy over Buffy/Whedon, or Who/Moffat; even the original Who.

No interest in Game of Thrones manifested yet; don't expect any to be frank.

Odd facts. #1 No Buffy for slightly over two years; #2 no Angel since genning up on Darla for a birthday fic for deird1, which then became a pre-S1 fic, making said genning up irrelevant :-)

Yet; nearly 9 out of 10 story ideas are Buffyverse.

Go figure!

Hypothesis: Joss Whedon is in fact some sort of demonic figure :-)

'Tis ok to be Takei,
Ray.
