" for every time a gun in the home was used in a self-defense or legally justifiable shooting, there were four unintentional shootings, seven criminal assaults or homicides, and 11 attempted or completed suicides (Kellermann et al, 1998" So that gun in the house is 22 times MORE likely to hurt the family than any chance of an intruder. More Americans die in a 18 year period from guns than the TOTAL death toll of americans in ALL wars ever fought by this country since 1775.

There's no justification for owning a gun in this country. None.

I broke down and bought my favorite Christmas Album on iTunes today (in 1968 I bought John Fahey's Christmas album when it was first released on vinyl, and then decades later I bought it on cassette tape.... but of course those are long gone). Here is one of the songs from that album:
