Merlin Finale Season Question

Does anyone out there know what the first episode of S5/the finale season of Merlin called? Is it "Arthur's Bane" with an original airdate of 10/13/12 - and plot summary of Merlin fears that he cannot sway Arthur from his chosen path as ancient prophecies about Mordred may come true? I'm trying to figure out if I missed the first episode. Apparently it's started on SYFY, but I don't know if it started last week or this week.

It started on Jan 4 and Arthur's Bane sounds right.

The first episode is called 'Arthur's Bane' and it is a two parter... part one aired Jan 4th... so I'm pretty sure that is what you have on your DVR.

No, don't have it on my DVR. Had to set it up again. So missed part one apparently. (I asked a co-worker and he said that it had started last week but he wasn't sure if it was a new episode. So I asked for the plot. He said Morgana kidnapped Arthur's knights and he had to go find them, which admittedly is the plot a few episodes from last season. OR, I said, the episodes of the past two seasons. Sigh. Much as I like Merlin, the plots are lame.)

My DVR went kablooey last year and I had to get a new one - after the Merline episodes aired, so it wasn't set to tape. And no one informed me that Merlin was starting Jan 4. I found out it was airing new episodes this week by accident.

That's the problem tv shows nowadays you can't figure out when they are on, unless someone on the flist or EW or a tv commercial tells you.

bummer... I've checked and Syfy isn't rerunning it before 'Arthur's Bane' part 2....
they will probably do a marathon at some point, but not any time soon. :(
