Jury duty

First day of jury duty. Room is nicer than previously. They've clearly upgraded. Can't access lj via Internet server though, had to do it through my app. Also can't access work email. We are supposed to appear by 8:30 am but I see no officials, just jurors like myself and considering how huge Brooklyn is there aren't that many of us so far. May be because it takes a while to get through security ? The taping on my iPad seems incredibly loud in this silent place. There is a bit of an echo..you hear the footsteps and vices outside as if you are sitting in a Cathedral.
