shadowkatTech issues, or why I'm not a techie....
Livejournal was shutting me out because my current email account refused to take any messages from lj any more - including the verification email. So I attempted to reach earthlink to fix the problem, no dice. Gave up and went over to Google. Set up a gmail account and had the email sent there. Also set it up so that it would import all my earthlink email and contacts.
Changed my email account on lj to the new gmail account. So far so good. LJ opened up again.
One small problem? I made the mistake of importing all my earthlink email to Google.
Why is this a problem? There's over 1000 emails, because I suck at managing it and it gets overloaded with Facebook notifications, meetup notifications, and lj notifications.
Which is probably why every once and a while those notifications bounce out of it.
I miss the days when all of this was a whole lot simpler.
