!. So, I admittedly thought of it the moment the dragons showed up, but still...the first zombie dragon??? They are so not going to win this.

2. Danerys/Snow has become my new ship.

Although I spent most of the episode worrying about Redhaired Wildling, Dog, and Jorah. I kept saying, "no, no, don't kill the Wildling guy! No!"

Wildling: The love of my life is waiting for me, taller than you, blond hair, blue eyes...
Dog: Oh dear god, you mean, Brienne of Tarth?
Wildling: Yes! I am going to marry her, and we are going to have monsterous babies together!

Jon: I'm so sorry. If I could take it back I would. We should never have gone.
Dany: No. Don't be. I don't regret it. I had to see it. You have to see it to know. This is our fight. We will destroy them. We will do it together, you have my word.
Jon: Thank you, Dany.
Dany: No one calls me that, the last one was my brother...and I can't say he's a good one to emoulate...
Jon: Then not Dany, my Queen.
Dany: Oh..
Jon: I'd bend the knee, but..
Dany: I don't deserve it.
Jon: You do.


3. How creepy is Ayra? Still like her better than Sansa, who I'm really hoping finds herself facing a few wight walker's soon.

Sansa: What are these?
Ayra: Faces.
Sansa: What?
Ayra: so I can become whoever I want. I can even become you, wear those pretty dresses, all I'd have to do is take your face.
ME: Actually taking LF's would make more sense and be more productive.

Not sure what LF's plan was in pitting the sisters against each other?

Sansa : "You have no idea what I went through. You wouldn't have been able to survive it."

Ayra: "Oh I could probably imagine some of it."

...

Oh I loved that episode to pieces. And I hate zombies.

Have they shown Arya and LF in the same shot recently? Maybe Arya already has taken his face...

No, it's pretty clear she hasn't killed him yet. And Sansa found Ayra's bag of faces. They've shown him watching Ayra.

I still can't figure out who's playing who. Is LF playing the sisters? Are they playing him? Is Arya playing him and Sansa?

Mind you, I won't much care as long as LF ends up dead. :)

Feel much the same way. It's unclear.

Ayra is as hard to read as Bran.

And, I'm tired of LF...peeking around corners and plotting. Bring on the zombies already. Seriously once the white walkers invade Winterfell, it's all over but the screaming. And I'm guessing they will use the dragon to bring down the wall or get over the wall. Sansa, LF, Cersei and the rest don't see the white walkers as a threat because of the wall.

Yes, it could be that Bran is in on a plot also.

LF was critical to the "game of thrones" and needed to be in the story as long as that went on. We're past that now -- it's ice and fire. He serves no purpose in that story and can go. Same with Cersei in most ways.

Cersei may very well side with the Zombies killing northerners just fine.

True. Cersei has always been a fool, unable to see beyond the short term. She thinks she's still playing the GoT. The Others aren't.

Agreed on both points. I still think that Arya will end up killing Cersei, or maybe Jamie will end up doing it after he gets turned into a White Walker.

Those are certainly the top 2 possibilities. I can think of others, but I'd bet you're right. And Jaime may not need to turn into a WW before he does it.

It'll be the part when Cersei offers to marry the Night King as part of an alliance.

LOL! (Except I think the Night King may be Bran...so it won't work. (wild speculation only). He'd never agree to it. Although he'd be willing to turn her into a White Walker.)

Maybe Cersei will become a White Walker...there goes her new baby with Jaime. And hence the reason he kills her.

I agree. Next episode is going to bring that home to the Lannisters...that the only War is between the living and the dead or ice and fire. (ie. Survival.) The dead don't care who sits on the Iron Throne or about the Game of Thrones.

Both feel like dead weight at the moment. That's why I'm sort of hoping they either kill them off or up their game somehow. I know Cersei is in it til the end. Not so sure about LF.

Oh a co-worker called Bran....someone who took weed and got a degree in philosophy. There's speculation that Bran may end being the Knight King. (Not spoilers, I've no clue if it is true, just speculation.)

I really am not sure what the game is with the characterization. Perhaps neither Arya nor Sansa knows that Robb read Sansa's letter with the Maester. In fact, reading Sansa's letter preceded Robb's rebellion. (It's her hand, but Cersei's words...)

Which is to say, that letter probably wouldn't actually hurt her with the Northern lords anyway.

I was thinking much the same thing. We haven't seen them together. But...it just doesn't make sense that she did it, nor does it quite fit the way he's acting.

I'd forgotten that. But that makes it odder still. LF was at Kings Landing at the time, and sort of counseling Cersei, hence the reason he knew about the letter. And it was part of the reason Caitlyn and Rob declared war...because they thought Cersei was holding Sansa and Ayra captive. All the Northern Lords thought that. Caitlyn made a big deal of it, it's why she let Jamie go, in exchange for her daughters.

It's bad because this seems like the sort of thing the show used to know - either there's some point they are getting at here or I am just confused by the characterization.

Agreed. Feel much the same way. I'm having difficulties understanding the motivation behind the whole letter thing.

Except that just because the viewers know this, doesn't mean that Arya and Sansa do.

True. Ayra certainly wouldn't know it. And LF does have a tendency to play people against each other to further his own ends.

and I could see him pretending that he thought Sansa already knew, and coming in as her knight on shining armor to gain Sansa's trust, while trying to get Arya out of the way.

Yep. Wondering if the writers are hunting for a reason for someone to off LF? (I mean we can think of many many reasons...but it's worth keeping in mind that the characters don't know what we do. Neither sister knows that LF is responsible for Ned Stark's death and played Ned against the Lannisters.) LF's like Shakespear's Iago, very hard to catch.

I read a theory on what he might be trying to achieve, and it basically comes down to using Sansa, the 'true heir' of the north, to get Jon's army to follow Sansa instead, and thus for himself to become the new king, while seeing Sansa as a replacement for her mother.

That makes sense. I think it is what he's aiming for, which would have worked if it weren't for the White Walkers and the Night King, who will obliterate them. Apparently LF isn't taking Jon any more seriously than Sansa is in regards to the White Walkers. They still think the real war is in King's Landing. I'm thinking they are in for a rude awakening.

I think Arya is one character where they do like to pull rabbits from the hat, so we can't take everything for granted. However LF is a very useful character and the only significant manipulator still close to Sansa (whose ongoing character development relies on constantly being manipulated), so I agree it is unlikely they have killed him.

Never try to predict how a northerner will react ;)
