Day #6 of the 30 Day Music Meme - A song that makes you want to dance

I was holding a lot of solo dance parties in my apartment during the first part of the pandemic, and I still do on occasion. It should be noted that anything with a beat makes me want to dance.

This is the first song that I held a dance party to, or at least I think it was - it was a long time ago. And it fits the criteria - it's a song that makes me want to dance whenever I hear it, and it also cheers me up.

Yes...the lyrics do make one pause. I think the lyricist was bored and hunted whatever would rhyme - which seems to be the case with most jazz lyrics - it's less about meaning and more about rhythm.
