Funny how some things stick with you forever. From the stone age:

Episode 1 of the Mary Tyler Moore Show. Lou Grant is interviewing Mary for her job at the station and mixing in some personal questions with the business ones. Mary calls him on it.
Smiling broadly, Lou: You know what? You've got spunk!
Proud and a little embarrassed Mary mumbles.

Oh, good one - I like that one.

I drew a blank - the only one's I could think of were "beam me up, Scotty" - which was never actually quoted, and "Beep me, when it's the apocalypse" or "winter is coming" or
"it's bigger on the inside".

So I looked them up and picked one.

As the owner of a cat and an adorable tiny poodle dog, I love this quote from Ron Swanson (Nick Offerman) on Parks and Recreation:

"Any dog that weighs less than 50 pounds is a cat... and cats are useless."

Being a cat person, whose never quite understood why people feel the need to own dogs...the quote is kind of lost on me. ;-)

Okay, I just realized you ignored one of the rules set up early on - you can't use the same television show twice. Otherwise, I would have used "If the Apocalypse Comes, Beep Me." or a Buffy quote - but I'm saving that for another category.

This meme is very easy if you can do that.

Oh dear, so many possible ones, if I could remember them. I do believe I'll go with the very first one that came into mind after reading the prompt, which I suppose says something about it right there.

"The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few... or the one."

Ya'll remember that one, don't you? Oh, wait... that was in one of the movies, right, not the TV series? Poo.. still a good'n, though.

"The Wrath of Khan" A very memorable scene. And a phrase that made its way into popular culture.

I like "Resistance is futile." You will be assimilated, etc. etc. It's even in the Urban Dictionary!

My favorite quote from Wrath of Khan is.."Khaaaan!!" LOL!

Also, I forgot "Resistance if Futile" or "You Will Be Assimilated" - I should have picked those. I've zero memory for quotes. I had to look them up, since the only ones I could remember were from Buffy and I want to use Buffy for another category.

Oh, good one. I didn't realize you'd seen Farscape! Farscape is my favorite sci-fi television series, and Aeryn and John my favorite television pairing. I have the DVD's I just can't watch them since I can't hook up DVD player to new television set - but it is on Amazon Prime!

I think I mentioned this back shortly after you got the new TV (memory bad, tree pretty), but if you post the make and model number of your TV, I can download the manual for it and tell you how to do the hookup. I'd be very surprised if it isn't possible-- I have yet to see a newer TV that didn't allow for the connection of at least one "legacy" component, which is how the industry refers to the older stuff.

But-- DVD isn't that old yet!

I could then draw and post a picture to show how its done.

The X-Files, 2x17, "End Game"

Dana Scully: (Scully reads her report on the case as a voiceover as she enters Mulder's hospital room and sits down next to him.) Transfusions and a treatment with antiviral agents have resulted in a steady but gradual improvement in Agent Mulder's condition. Blood tests have confirmed his exposure to the still-unidentified retrovirus, whose origin remains a mystery. The search team that found Agent Mulder has located neither the missing submarine nor the man he was looking for. Several aspects of this case remain unexplained, suggesting the possibility of paranormal phenomena. But I am convinced that to accept such conclusions is to abandon all hope of understanding the scientific events behind them. Many of the things I have seen have challenged my faith and my belief in an ordered universe, but this uncertainty has only strengthened my need to know, to understand, to apply reason to those things that seem to defy it. It was science that isolated the retrovirus Agent Mulder was exposed to, and science that allowed us to understand its behavior. And ultimately, it was science that saved Agent Mulder's life.

Dana Scully is my favorite television character. This is my favorite scene in the entire series, actually. I was always rooting for science over the paranormal. I thought one of the greatest weakness in the writing was how predictable it became. They should have mixed it up a little more, had science and reason win the day more often. It would have made for much better drama.

The icon is from this scene. It's a very tender, emotional moment--she's holding his hand in hers, and watching him sleep. The look on her face when Mulder regains consciousness--I know that feeling so well.

Good quote. I think I saw that episode...X-Files was an odd show for me, in that I liked the stand-a-lone episodes that often built more on their relationship better than the arc episodes - usually it's the exact opposite. I had troubles watching the series because of the horror elements. (I found it too scary at times. There's a spider episode that I can't watch at all.)

I adore Dana Scully. Also love the actress and have watched her in other things.

Okay, I might allow this - even though you kind of already used Fractured Fairy Tales for the animated category - but you picked Rocky and Buwinkle as well, and firs tso I'll let you have it. (Another reason not to pick more than one television show.)

And I like the quote a lot. It's funny.

Note - this is too easy if we get to use the same television shows for more than one category. Otherwise I could just use Buffy for about half of them. LOL!
