I considered picking that one (it was between it and Wolf - so aren't you lucky, I chose Wolf?).

I couldn't handle the gore at the time and found it too scary when I first saw it (I was a kid - about 13 at the time). Funny story - I watched it with my mother. I'd leave the room during the scary bits and come back in, and mother would look up at me, fill me in, and crack me up - she thought it was hilarious and tell me the jokes. Particularly Griffin Dunn's comments to David Naughton killing folks. And how each of the people he kills ends up haunting him as corpses in a movie theater. Mother thought this was hilarious - and managed to convince me to stick around and watch.

As an aside? Horror movies don't scare my mother. She doesn't consider it real - so why is it scary? I also saw Tremors with my mother.

Good thing the picks fell the way they did, because my next choice was 20 levels below my love for this movie.

The scenes between Griffin Dunne and David Naughton in the porno theater made the movie for me. That Landis actually made the porno scenes is just... genius.

Another strong point: The love story between Naughton and Jenny Agutter was very powerful and very sexy.

I deliberately don't choose certain things - to give others more options. Like I avoided two obvious choices - the one for song, and the one you chose - to give others who may have more limited options more choices.

I mean I could pick five or six different options and be fine.

Ghost stories - I struggled with more than expected. I just drew a blank. Also best back from the dead moment - same, could only think of one. Some of these prompts aren't as easy as I thought.
