Late on a Sunday, feeling a need to whine again.
Resist. Must Resist. Oh WTF!
Anyone remember Suzanne Vega? She was an alternative rock/folk singer in the 1980s and early 90s, sounded a bit like Sarah McLachlan mixed with Aimee Mann but with funkier lyrics. One of her songs was "left-of-center" - loved that song. Can't for the life of me remember the lyrics of it, just the theme and tune.
I'd kill for a Suzanne Vega CD with left of center on it about now. But alas all I have is dusty broken cassette of the song from Pretty in Pink - the John Hughes/Molly Ringwold film that the song was featured in - circa 1986. God I feel old.
