This latest romance novel I'm reading, courtesy of a rec by "Smart Bitches the Read Romance Novels" is hilarious. It's a silhouette, entitled "The Tycoon's Rebel Bride" - was rec'd as a successful contemporary forbidden love romance.
( work safe )( Not work safe quote...for oh so many reasons )Silly romance novel is distracting me from tv binging. I may have to delete
Revolution, although only have four episodes left. I can't quite put my finger on what Kripke (former SPN showrunner) is doing wrong here. I think it's partly the same thing he did wrong in Supernatural...not building the story from an emotional base and relying too strongly on old tv tropes and cliches. Whatever it is...I finding it hard to care about the characters, and I keep finding out about things that seem to pop in out of nowhere. Granted I did miss one episode. But it was only one episode.
