Did you know there's a band named Primal Scream?
They are apparently known for the hit "Give Out and Don't Give Up".
I found them while hunting for a "Primal Scream" and only got that.
And FB is throwing this at me:
Dolly and Kermit singing Everyday People
I found out who won the election this morning via social media, then with fear and foreboding checked the news. My cousin in Illinois was posting "If you want to know where I'll be - I'll be at Rick's in Casablanca" and a picture of the American version of Rick's - because everyone goes to Ricks.

And a friend on both DW and FB, from Britain - posted a black circle and aghast.
It's quiet here. I hear machinery, but that's it and the normal sounds of a normal ordinary working day. The trees still, alarmingly, have their leaves, and they are mostly green. An ordinary fall day, except not, the effects of climate change apparent everywhere - in the temperatures and the leaves on the trees - if one opens up their eyes wide enough to notice. And my church is holding candlelight and prayer meditations at it all day long. Although, I'm thinking I may just take a walk through Greenwood Cemetery. Thankful I've never had any children and never will.
