ATPO Gathering Question?

Which day would be best for me to come up to the Ramada and meet people? (I plan to meet people in Manhattan on any activities they'd like to do that weekend, but thought it might be useful if I tried to come up one day as well?)
I've been considering Sunday or I can take Friday off work and try to come up that day?

I'm thinking July 2. The 3rd, sounds like we'll be out and about. The 1st is also a possibility for you, although CJL will be out that evening.

This is a useful question for me, too, since I guess I should start thinking about when exactly I'm coming down.

I'm so torn, though, because Saturday (the 2nd) Live 8 is here in town and I had some vague idea of going... then again, if you're all going to be doing the Shakespeare thing on Sunday, it makes the most sense.

Are a lot of people going to be there on Friday, or are most coming in just for the weekend proper?

Hmm, so if I got came on Thursday evening I could hang out for a while, then head out to my sister's place on Long Island to crash for the night, come back the next day and leave towards evening on Friday. Or I could just come in early Friday morning and do the day trip as originally planned.

Also, coming early has the advantage of meaning there will probably be more cookies around. ;)

I can probably come for part of that. Any particular plans for that day (or just evening)? Just hang out at the hotel? Watch some of the DVDs? Get out a little?

People will be arriving that day. I doubt there will be much activity, except perhaps meeting up in people's rooms later in the evening. The events in the conference room start Friday.

I thought the Shakespeare thing was on the 2nd? Probably helps if I know when people are doing it - since that I was planning on doing as well. (okay, I really need to talk to cjl before that weekend).

Friday sounds like a good day to try and come up. Not sure about the 2nd - may have my own scheduling conflict.
