Just created a yummy new desert or ahem an alcoholic drink - in a wine glass put whip cream, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, melt some chocolat with cream in the microwave - pour on top, add a little liguor (vodaka was what I used or if you don't like alcohol - skip) add more whip cream.
Ahhh...

Yes, some people use recipe books when they cook, me? I just throw stuff together and see what works. The kitchen is another word for a chemistry set in my lexicon.

Sorry for the spamming, somewhat buzzed and very bored. Also my mind will not let me work on my novel, dang-it. Maybe later. Hopes.

Understand. Feel much the same way when people talk about all those cookies
they are baking - I have an flist that occassionally gets obsessed with baking cookies, pies, cakes and bread for some reason. It's died down a bit now, but between Halloween and Xmas - it's just one cookie/bread recipe - icon after another...ugh. LOL! (I'm gluten intolerant.)

Right now they are obsessed with kitty cats - so today I innocently went online only to feel the oddest desire to go adopt a putty cat. (kitten or cat). The culprit? This adorable video of a huge cat who was stealing food, named goliath. He looks absolutely adorable in it. My heart went out to the poor thing for some reason or other. Course can't bloody afford a kitty cat nor for that matter am I technically speaking permitted to own one - lease has a clause that says that I am not allowed to have a pet. But boy did lj make me want one.

LJ can be a dangerous place...for the weakwilled...and envy prone. But quite nifty for those who like to live vicariously...;-)

Heh, I saw a picture of Goliath in the paper today..he got stuck in a dog door trying to snitch the dog's food. weighs in at 9 kilos, OMG. And I thought my cat Sam was huge.
