Well, at least 4 people besides me read Kim Harrison. Disappointing. Because I've figured out that the mystery at the center of all her books is Trent. And he's not really a villain at all. We've been mislead.

I've also only read the first 3 books of the G. RR. Martin series. That's another series that flips characters on you, where you realize halfway through Storm of Swords - that Ned Stark wasn't the hero you thought he was, and Jamie Lannister isn't the villain.
