Whoa...Governor Cumo just passed and is signing into law today an Historic Executive Order that New Yorkers can vote in ANY polling place in the state, just not the races they aren't registered to vote for. Usually, you can only vote in the place you are assigned to. He said compared to last week this will be a walk in the park.

This is going to be a historic and incredibly weird election people. If you are outside the US and watching...this has never happened before in our nation's history to my knowledge.

Driver's Registration and ID, also computers. Same as everywhere else.

I've never voted anywhere where the poll workers had access to computers. It was always sign your name beside your name printed in the poll list and more lately show your ID/IDS. I don't think it will be a problem for tomorrow, but the possibilies for fraud in checking voters off a list of those yet to vote via computers is endless.

I see in your other post that those having to vote at another site will vote by paper ballot. That is common a lot of places and is pretty secure.

Yep, that's actually how they are doing it. "Provisional voting".
