I listed all the night-time television series that are "currently" on somewhere in the world. Note currently. Not tv shows that are on hiatus or won't show up again until next year or recently ended. Which is why Game of Thrones, Orphan Black, Covert Affairs, Mad Men, Defiance, and Breaking Bad are not listed. Had to draw the line somewhere - too many frigging tv shows.
So below are the one's I know about and could remember, but do not necessarily watch. If your favorite isn't on the list - check Other, and list in the comments.
[ETA: Note to self - have someone beta your polls before submitting, so you won't make dumb mistakes like list one television show twice in the same poll. Points if you can figure out which one. UGH! And I forgot Dracula and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. ]

Date: 2013-11-08 06:00 am (UTC)New; The Crazy Ones, Agents of Shield, Sleepy Hollow
Returning; American Horror Story, The Walking Dead and Modern Family
The only new show I've quit so far is Dracula. I was really excited for that series but I was so bored by the pilot that I just can't even be bothered watching the next episode.
I'm not having a good run so far. I am actually finding The Crazy Ones really enjoyable which I never thought I'd say but I'm pretty apathetic to both AoS and Sleepy Hollow right now. I thought this week's episode was a major improvement for AoS but it still has a long way to go and I fell asleep halfway through Sleepy Hollow (not the show's fault! I was really tired) but can't muster up the energy to start the episode again. I'm sure I'll like it well enough when I eventually get around to it but that can't be a good sign :/
I feel much the same way about The Walking Dead. I got really invested in it last year but so far I've been pretty bored. I've still got episode 4 waiting to be watched but can't really be bothered right now. The series is starting to become a bit tedious now, ya know?
SN and Modern Family have suffered a similar fate. Modern Family’s quality has really nosedived since last season and I’m worried it’s going to follow the same fate as The Office. Both shows began to suffer in S4 and then became really hit and miss and I’d hate to lose interest in MF like I did with The Office. Supernatural just can’t hold my interest and I doubt I’ll stick with it over the entire season.
The only show I’m crazy about right now is American Horror Story. It just gets better and better every week and I’m in love. It’s the only series where I rewatch the episodes more than once after I’ve seen them (several times in fact) and which I look forward to from week-to-week. S3 is the best so far.

RE: AoS - I'm getting the feeling most people are rather apathetic. They neither hate it nor love it, just rather bored by it.

Date: 2013-11-08 11:07 pm (UTC)Well, you might enjoy it but so far it has left me pretty cold. I guess after 4 seasons I might just be burnt out by the story they're telling. It's hardly a "fun" show to watch and I'm becoming pretty desensitised to the horrors the characters are going through. They have tried to change the threat somewhat this season though, for what it's worth.
Yeah, there's really nothing to hate about AoS. It's a harmless show that doesn't really elicit much strong reaction one way or another. I wish it did. I did find last week's episode a major improvement though.
