Very apt quote, that my college writing professor told me way back in 1989.

True.
Although not all of us get paid for it or get to write what we want. I write for a living, but it is business writing. And in my free time, I suck up hours and hours either blogging, or writing fiction that may or may not get published. But I write because I have to. As do a good percentage of my flist - or you wouldn't be here.
Another cool link for anyone who liked the character of Spike or is still remotely interested in Joss Whedon's process regarding the character. Oh, apparently Whedon preferred the character of Spike to Angel and...the WB told him that they would not renew Angel for a fifth season if he did not bring the character of Spike into the show. (I already knew that, actually the only surprise in the interview was the fact that Whedon preferred the character of Spike to Angel, I was under the impression it was the opposite for some reason.) The transcriber even transcribed Whedon's um's and uh's, that's dedication. LOL!
